When I have to pay the reservation?

Standard rate: payment is made at the time of your arrival.
Non refundable rate: payment is made at the same time you reserve
Group rate (more than 9 people): special conditions.

Why do we need your credit card when you reserve?

The details of the credit card are necessary to guarantee your reservation. We will not make any charge on this card until you arrive to the Hostal, where you can decide how to pay. We will only make a charge in case of: No Show or Cancellation after the deadline (see cancellation conditions).

What does the price of the reservation include?

The prices of our website include breakfast (buffet type) and taxes (tourist city tax not included).

Which type of credit card are accepted?

VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, Diners and American Express.

How can I cancel / modify the reservation without any charge?

If the rate is Non-Refundable, it can not be canceled or modified. You must contact us or the portal where you have booked at least 48 hours before your arrival. Otherwise, the first night will be charged.

We are not responsible for third-party reservations

Is it possible to do a Check-in/Check-out outside official time?

Check-in: from 2:00 pm
Check-Out: before 12:00. Outside these hours, we have a luggage storage. It is a free service.
The reception is open 24 hours.

Is it possible to have an early breakfast?

Yes, always under previous request. Unfortunately we can not offer you the full buffet style breakfast but we will prepare you something quick so you do not leave on an empty stomach.

Do you have breakfast for celiac/ lactose intolerant?

We do not have special complete breakfast for celiac/lactose intolerant, but if you ask for it in advance, we will do our best

Do you have Parking?

Unfortunately Hostal Mare Nostrum does not have Parking. So, we can recommend server options close to the hostel CLICK HERE.

Do you have elevator in the hostal? Is it adapted for people with reduced mobility?

We have an elevator from the first floor. From the street to the reception, located on the 1st floor, there are easy access stairs. The hostal is not adapted to people with wheelchairs or reduced mobility.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately, Hostal Mare Nostrum does not accept pets.

What happens if I forget something in the room?

Inform us and we will do our best to send it to you. Keep in mind that we only work with MRW, a shipping company that offers us a guarantee. The shipment has a high additional cost nationally and internationally. Hotel Curious is not responsible for lost items in common areas and rooms . We do not have the obligation to send the lost objects. We have a safe at the reception to deposit everything you need.

Does Hostal Mare Nostrum accept groups?

For reservations of 10 people or more, special conditions will be applied.

What is included on the room?

Sheets, blankets, one pillow per person, towels, shampoo, shower gel, hand soap and hair dryer. They are equipped with TV, air-conditioning (in summer), heating (in winter) and free Wi-Fi (all the year).

Is it possible to add an extra bed or babycot in the room?

It is not possible unless you change to a superior room.Contact us.
